All your allies will force you to the border; your friends will deceive and overpower you.
Historical Fulfilment
The Edomites, who lived in the mountain fortress of Petra, were gradually displaced by the Nabateans (4th century BC) and later absorbed. Petra's ruins stand as a testament — the nation of Edom no longer exists.
