In the aftermath of the great chastisement, a remarkable spiritual transformation will occur. The Seer states: 'The churches and sects will recognize that they had actually been speaking of the same thing, each in their own language. The reunification happens automatically.' The divisions of centuries — Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, smaller denominations — will dissolve in the face of shared suffering and shared survival. The renewed Church will return closer to its apostolic origins, and believing will become easier for all people.
