Nicaraguan peasant who received eight apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Cuapa, Nicaragua in 1980. The apparition was approved by the local bishop in 1982. Our Lady appeared as Our Lady of the Rosary and delivered messages about prayer, peace, and warnings about persecution of the Church in Central America.
