Jeanne le Royer

1731 – 1798 · France catholic · Nun, Visionary
Traditional

Breton nun known as Sister of the Nativity, from the convent of the Urbanists in Fougères, France. She produced the most extensive body of prophetic visions in Catholic tradition — her confessor Abbé Genet recorded them in four volumes. She accurately predicted the French Revolution in detail, including the execution of the king and the persecution of the clergy. Her end-times visions are among the most detailed ever recorded, covering the Antichrist, the last pope, and the final judgment.
