Bible

Nathan was the court prophet during the reign of King David and the early reign of Solomon. He is best known for confronting David over his sin with Bathsheba using the parable of the poor man's lamb. He also delivered God's covenant promise to David — the Davidic Covenant — that his throne would be established forever, a prophecy central to messianic expectations. Nathan played a crucial role in ensuring Solomon's succession.
