Anonymous prophecy preserved in the Carthusian monastery of Premol near Grenoble, France. Dating from the late 18th century, it contains one of the most detailed descriptions of the Three Days of Darkness in Catholic prophetic literature. The manuscript was found in the monastery archives and published in several prophetic compilations.

Three Days of Darkness — The Premol Account

God will send three days of darkness over the entire earth. During these days of horror, no artificial light will work. Only blessed wax candles will burn. The wicked will try to light their candles but they will not ignite. A rain of fire will fall. Demons will roam the earth in horrible shapes. Those who look outside will die of fright. The faithful must remain in prayer, doors locked, windows covered with blessed cloth.
