Sister Bouquillon

Sister Bouquillon

19th c. · France catholic · Nun, Visionary
Traditional

French nun from Belley whose visions focus on the future invasion and liberation of France. Her most remarkable prophecy describes an enemy entering France through a passage under the sea — widely interpreted as a prediction of the Channel Tunnel (Eurotunnel), which opened in 1994, over a century after her prophecy. Her writings are preserved in French Catholic prophetic archives.
