St. John of Kronstadt (Ivan Ilyich Sergiyev) was the most famous Russian Orthodox priest of his era. Serving at St. Andrew's Cathedral in Kronstadt for over 50 years, he drew thousands of pilgrims daily. Known for miraculous healings, prophetic gifts, and passionate liturgical life. He kept a spiritual diary ("My Life in Christ") and warned Russia about the consequences of abandoning God. Canonized by ROCOR in 1964 and by the Moscow Patriarchate in 1990.
