In seven letters, he speaks of the coming of the Great King and the "Holy Militia of God," a new order of cross-bearers. He foretells the destruction of heresy, the conversion of pagans, the restoration of the Church, and world peace. He prophesied that the leader of this army would be of the blood of French and Roman emperors, infamous in his youth but later a saint and restorer of Christendom.
