The binding of Satan for a thousand years signifies the present age of the Church, during which the devil is restrained from exerting his full power against the faithful. But at the end of this period, Satan shall be loosed for a short time and shall gather Gog and Magog — the nations deceived by the Antichrist — for a final assault against the camp of the saints and the beloved city.
