The last persecution by the Antichrist shall be the most grievous of all persecutions. The Church shall endure it before the final judgment. The whole city of God shall be under persecution, the whole city spread abroad throughout the whole world. The Antichrist shall persecute the Church not only by violence but also by cunning deception, performing false signs and wonders.
