Four World Empires — Nebuchadnezzar's Dream
603 BC — Babylon
Fulfilled
King Nebuchadnezzar dreamed of a great statue: head of gold, chest of silver, belly of bronze, legs of iron, feet of iron mixed with clay. A stone cut without hands struck the statue and became a great mountain filling the whole earth. Daniel interpreted this as four successive world empires, followed by God's eternal kingdom.

Reality: Historians identify the four empires as Babylon (gold), Medo-Persia (silver), Greece (bronze), and Rome (iron). Each succeeded the other exactly as prophesied.

Fulfilled
Seventy 'sevens' are decreed for your people and your holy city. Reality: Scholars calculate 69 'weeks' (483 years) from Artaxerxes' decree to rebuild Jerusalem (445 BC) to approximately 33 AD — aligning with Jesus' triumphal entry and crucifixion.
The Prince of Persia — Spiritual Warfare Over Iran
536 BC — Babylon
Pending
The angel said to Daniel: "Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia." (Daniel 10:12-13). This passage reveals an unseen spiritual dimension — a demonic principality specifically assigned to the Persian/Iranian kingdom that actively opposes God's purposes. The archangel Michael's intervention suggests Iran holds unique significance in spiritual warfare. This is one of Scripture's clearest descriptions of territorial spirits influencing nations.
