The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house, says the Lord Almighty. And in this place I will grant peace. (Haggai 2:9). Christians interpret this as fulfilled by Jesus Christ, who walked in the Second Temple, making its glory surpass Solomon's Temple — not through physical grandeur but through the presence of the Messiah himself.
